Louis is retired but continues from
time to time as an engineering as Geologist and Hydro-Geologist
Expert. He has been above all spelunker-explorer, and scuba-diving
explorer. He made, with a "Grenoble Speleo-Club"
(CAF) team, the first explorations of "Gouffre Berger"
(Berger chasm), going beyond 1000m underground (1956). He
is co-author of 'Operation -100' relating these explorations.
He explored submarine springs in coastal aquifers in Mediterranean
area particularly in Cassis (France) and Benghazi (Libya).
Actually he is chairman of a non-profit scientific association
to study submarine springs of Cassis. He worked (water)
in numerous countries in all continents but specifically
in Latin America and south Mediterranean countries. He practises
a lot alpine and mountain ski and also sailing boat (racing)
in Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.
