Pierre Kintgen
MI'90

From 1987 until 2004, Pierre hiked and climbed along the equatorline and adjacent tropical areas. The original line at 0*00’00” crosses worldwide 15 pieces of land. He sojourned on all of them and hiked 30 mountains or tops. This endeavor covers a twin challenge: first climbing the highest mountains worldwide along the equator line on both sides of the line between 0*00’00” (original line) and 0*59’59” in the North and South hemispheres. Second, climbing the single highest mountain, on each piece of land crossed by the line, located between the equator(line) and the boundary of the solstitial circles (at 23*27”) either north (cancer) or the south (Capricorne) the well-known “Tropic”.
